Globalization Public Domain

Question: Discuss about the Globalizationfor Public Domain. Answer: Introduction Globalization is a concept, which altered the lifestyles of the public domain. Different parameters of globalization reflected varied and wide-ranging perspectives, which reflects the escalated for of the economy. The effects of this globalization were so widespread, that it adversely affected the diversified field, which made up the economy (Spring, 2014). Its impact on the field of education attaches a different connotation to the inner essence of the aspect of globalization. Countering this, from the perspective of teachers, globalization can be considered as an upliftment of the academic careers of the students in a global perspective. The major drive behind this is the setting up of policies, which added efficiency in the infrastructure of the administrative authorities of the school. As per the current trends of globalization, the sole purpose is to create corporate minds, which prepares the students for their professional life (Stromquist Monkman, 2014). Countering this, attainment of personal development is of utmost importance in order to attain professional development. With the mentality to compete in the rat race, the basic educational needs are taking a back seat. Herein, lays the true essence of the aspect of globalization, which establishes relevancy with the requirements of the report. On the contrary, setting up strong and flexible policies made the students aware of how to portray themselves in the larger world. This portrayal inculcated within them a sense of responsibility, which is crucial for the establishment of professionalism needed for workplace operations (Klarsfeld et al., 2014). Globalization has widened the scope and arena of education in a global perspective. As a matter of specification, there are numerous options available before the students regarding their employment opportunities. Campusing in the colleges provides the students a platform to select the appropriate path for progressing towards professionalism. Speculating the scenario of education in the present age, it bears correlation with technological development. This technological advancement has shifted the focus of education from enhancing the preconceived knowledge of the students towards the preparation of corporate minds (Zajda, 2015). This situation can be considered as a potential threat to the personal development of the students. Viewing it from the other perspective, this challenge has prepared the students to deal with emergencies, in advance, which would prove beneficial in terms of displaying their talents in the crisis periods. One of the major concerns of this globalized education is the generation of conflicts and discriminations between the students. These issues contradict the collaborative attempts of the administrative authorities to shape the academic lives of the students (Klarsfeld et al., 2014). Along with this, globalization of education has demarcated the gap between the rich and the poor, which has deprived the students from the poorer strata of society from basic and elementary education. Carrying out researches on the upliftment of the below poverty level sections of the society, would enhance the aspect of globalization in case of education as well as in the economy (Spring, 2014).
